Assembled and finished by hand in the Amalgam workshops, the scale model of the Daytona SP3 engine celebrates one of Ferrari’s most emblematic vehicles, a symbol of the design brilliance typical of the 1960s – a golden era for motorsport competitions and the development of cutting-edge prototypes.
The two-seater became a Ferrari icon after the Monza series, and evokes the spectacular results achieved in the 24 Hours of Daytona during the 1967 World Championship – when the first three
places were conquered by the 330 P3/4, the 330 P4 and the 412P cars – thanks to the most powerful internal combustion engine ever built by Ferrari, mounted in a central-rear position and able to reach a speed of 340 km/h.
The V12 engine is faithfully reproduced in this 1:4 model built in close collaboration with the Ferrari team, the result of over 300 hours of craftsmanship featuring painstakingly accurate details and components reflecting its individual design specifications and also including the labels and barcodes of each individual part.
Available in a limited edition comprising only 599 pieces, this collector’s item comes in an exclusive packaging that includes a black box, transparent dustproof case and display base in carbon fibre with a polished steel plate engraved with the model’s name.
Each piece is also accompanied by an information booklet complete with a Certificate of Authenticity.
