"Little Bastard" was the nickname of James Dean's Porsche 550 Spyder, which he drove when he died in a car crash in 1955. The car was one of the fastest in the world at the time, and Dean owned it for only nine days. How Dean got the car:

He named the car "Little Bastard" to "get even" with Warner Brothers, who had previously called him a "little bastard"

Dean was driving the car to a race meeting in Salinas, California on September 30, 1955
He was killed instantly when a Ford Tudor made a left turn in front of him on Route 466

The car's remains were towed to a repair shop in Paso Robles, California
